Hello viewers and/or helpless victims of a misplaced click! Welcome to my blog, please stop and look around a bit. My name is Chelsea and I am a somewhat typical college student living life. I've created this account in order to share some of the random things I've done and tell stories (Anyone who knows me will tell you I talk-- perhaps too much-- to anyone and everyone and always have a story to tell). I think I talk too much, but thankfully in this setting you are not being coerced into listening to my ramblings, you may stop reading whenever you choose (though I hope you find me just intriguing enough to continue reading).

P.S. I've got a secret..... I am new to this! (As if you couldn't tell by my cookie cutter blog template) I have never before written a blog, but so many people keep saying I should, and provided I have the patience and the dedication to do this frequently, I think it will be really fun.

So anyway, please keep in mind that I am new to this, and cut me some slack as I get the hang of it.
Oh and one more thing! If you don't like my blog for whatever reason, I am not forcing you to read it; no one is :) and I am who I am, so don't expect me to change if I get a little flak.

Welcome to Every Day's an Adventure

Fun stuffs

Okay so this week has been pretty cool despite little sleep and loads of homework! Monday was awesome. Went swing dancing.... well that wasn't so great... one of the guys I had met a previous week decided to follow me around, buy me a drink after I told him repeatedly not to, came up behind me and tickled me, kept asking the same kind of "So what's new?" questions over and over and kept asking if he did anything wrong every two seconds and apologizing in case he had... so I hung out with my ex most of the night lol. That was actually pretty fun; he asked me to dance and that dance was the most fun out of any of them that night, we sat and talked and joked with other people from swing and idk just had a fun time with of course plenty of teasing -_- and sarcasm lol. After swing ended Jessica (my best friend, as previously mentioned in other posts, who had driven out to come swing dancing that night) and I went out to dinner at Life Cafe. I LOVE THIS PLACE!!! The End hehe  >_<

So at Life Cafe, a lovely little Chinese Cafe, we started talking to the waiter and told him I know a little bit of Chinese. He of course wanted a demonstration. I REALLY didn't want to give him one lol, I'm always terrified that if I speak in someone else's language in front of them, they'll laugh at my accent or pronunciation or something, or not understand what I'm saying because I butcher it so badly. Eventually he convinced me to say some stuff and he said my Chinese was actually pretty good. He went back to his business and came back a little later to give us our drinks and after Jessica said thank you to him he looks at us and says "No English" lmao!! So for the rest of the night we spoke to him in what Chinese I've learned so far, even Jessica. It was fun. I had to teach her little phrases to say to him like "Xie xie," "Hen hao chi," etc and then he would quiz her to see if she could say it and if I did a good job teaching her lol. The waiter's name is Justin (Jessica made me ask him his name in Chinese lol). & anyway we had a really fun night making friends with the staff haha. After we paid Jessica tried to tell the cashier thank you, but had forgotten again lol. So I said "Xie xie, zai jian" and we left lol. Can't wait to go back there again and talk with my new waiter friend haha. & "oddly" enough he came back to our table to see how our food was and ask if we needed anything much more frequently after he found out I was studying Chinese. Anyone who hasn't been to Life Cafe and ordered a "Tropical Passion Shake" MUST do so, it's the only drink I ever buy there, because it is so beyond delicious. I know most people go there to get boba, but trust me the Tropical Passion Shake is worth it. It's a creamy smoothie shake hybrid thingy and uber tasty. But I digress..

Anyway so Monday night at Life Cafe was awesome. The next day we had Katipunan's First Gen!!!!!!!!!!!!!! SUPER DEE DUPER FANTASMIC night lol. There were so many people I haven't seen since last year, tons of new people, and a bunch of alumni came out for the event. Announcements were made about all the big upcoming events for the year which got me super pumped for FRIENDSHIP GAMES!!!!!!!!!!! Also we had performances by Mark Mejia, Albert Posis, and Shawn Barros together, and SENRYU TAIKO <-- there's a link to one of their videos, so you can get a feel for the awesomeness they brought  to the meeting. Another unexpected fabulous thing about First Gen, my KUYA came!!! He switched schools this year and abandoned me, so it was a really nice surprise to see him :)

OH MY!!! I have a doctor's appointment today and I'm gonna be late if I don't get offline and get dressed right now! So, I'm gonna say goodbye and possibly resume this post later :)

Bye for now everybody. Zai Jian, Adios, Ingat, Ciao, etc
